Views from The High Line
The High Line was built in the 1930s, as part of a massive public-private infrastructure project called the West Side Improvement. It lifted freight traffic 30 feet in the air, removing dangerous trains from the streets of Manhattan's largest industrial district. No trains have run on the High Line since 1980. Friends of the High Line, a community-based non-profit group, formed in 1999 when the historic structure was under threat of demolition. Friends of the High Line works in partnership with the City of New York to preserve and maintain the structure as an elevated public park.

The Milk Carton Kids (Joey Ryan and Kenneth Pattengale) opened tonight for Joe Purdy
at a very cool venue in Fall River MA called the Narrows Center for the Arts.
This recently paired duo is the ultimate in symbiosis. LOVE LOVE LOVE
It was so dark that photos and videos suffer visually but how sweet the song.

My good friend lost her battle with cancer today. This song is dedicated to her, I want
to thank Matt Duke for writing such a perceptive song. It's sad yet hopeful. I went to see him tonight at the Red Room with the hope he would sing it.
He did sing The Hour as well a rock an electric guitar! I love this kid!
Video is from a concert in April credit Cookie44
