SEATTLE

Seattle is a beautiful city. They claim it rains all the time in Seattle but that's not been my experience.
We spent 24 hours in Seattle, a city that always calls me back.

The most famous landmark is the Space Needle, built for the 1962 World's Fair. This is the view from our hotel roof. It will reappear in many photos.

Mama's Mexican Kitchen, the door was only the beginning of the magical decor which included an "Elvis" room. Great waitstaff and yummy food made it a worthwhile stop.

Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum at the Seattle Center, just amazing.

Oh look, there's that Space Needle again!

My favorite shot of the Space Needle, reflected in the EMP (Experience Music Project) Museum.

Pioneer Square is the birthplace of Seattle. Laying claim as the city's “first neighborhood", Pioneer Square is a richly historic place known for its Renaissance Revival architecture, another quirky neighborhood.

Sunset on the Riverwalk in Astoria Oregon, sometimes there just happens to be a person available to make a picture interesting.
