Kris Allen~ The MET Pawtucket RI

Is there such a thing as too many photos of Kris Allen?
Possibly.
My second show this week and although the set list was pretty much the same, it was very different concert.
The crowd at the Met was smaller, roudier and more energetic.
The atmosphere of the place was "blue-collar", gritty and real.
Kris's response to this was awesome! His bluesy side was in full tilt and a joy to watch.
Also, he played with audience in a way I've not seen before.
In a word he was on "FIAH".

Kris Allen~ Iron Horse Music Hall~4/28/13

The Out Alive Tour returns to New England!
The Iron Horse Music Hall is a great venue, it's been around for 38 years and has been host to an
impressive list of performers.
Add Kris Allen to the list!
It was very dark, no flash rule but I was close enough to catch a few nice shots.

TORRES

So close that it was difficult to shoot all four guys at once.

BOSTON~SPRING 2013

"Boston took a punch on Monday — two of them, actually — that left it staggering for a bit. Flesh proved vulnerable, as flesh is wont to do, but the spirit merely trembled before recasting itself into something stronger than any bomb or rage." Dennis Lehane

Spring in Boston is long anticipated and fleeting but when it finally arrives there is a collective "ahh".
This year there is something special in the air, the sun feels warmer, people friendlier and the pace has slowed.
The Marathon bombings have saddened us, shown us the worst and the BEST of humankind and proved that good always prevails.

Yesterdays storm  was nicknamed SNOWQUESTER because it originated in the nation's capital and it's just a better name than SATURN.  (Weather Channel's pick)
I took these photos in Winthrop MA and the aftermath of this storm was just so beautiful despite the destruction.

Those waves are not nearly as powerful as the ones the previous day as you can see from the condition of the road.

There were lobsters, shellfish, starfish, seaweed and rocks strewn all over the road.

This is a community use to storms and the havoc they cause.

The seagulls were many in number, it's like they sent out an alarm that there was food to be had.

Sated!

NEMO 2/8/13~2/9/13

When did we start naming snow storms? I guess "Blizzard of...." and "Storm of the Century" were making the sensationalists look insincere and a bit foolish.
So this month we had "NEMO", Not any person: nobody, no one.
My photographs of that day fit that definition perfectly.
