Yesterdays storm  was nicknamed SNOWQUESTER because it originated in the nation's capital and it's just a better name than SATURN.  (Weather Channel's pick)
I took these photos in Winthrop MA and the aftermath of this storm was just so beautiful despite the destruction.

Those waves are not nearly as powerful as the ones the previous day as you can see from the condition of the road.

There were lobsters, shellfish, starfish, seaweed and rocks strewn all over the road.

This is a community use to storms and the havoc they cause.

The seagulls were many in number, it's like they sent out an alarm that there was food to be had.

Sated!

NEMO 2/8/13~2/9/13

When did we start naming snow storms? I guess "Blizzard of...." and "Storm of the Century" were making the sensationalists look insincere and a bit foolish.
So this month we had "NEMO", Not any person: nobody, no one.
My photographs of that day fit that definition perfectly.

KRIS ALLEN~Part 2

KRIS ALLEN at the Ridgefield Playhouse, Ridgefield CT 1/10/2013
Shot the color photos on manual mode, thinking I need to finally read the instruction
manual for my camera.
No flash allowed and as you can see it was dark but I'm liking the effect.

Full band shot~ Cale, Kris, Andrew and Torres

On the Torres side of the stage again!

Kris's humor and patience with his limitations is both adorable and entertaining.

Artsy~I like it!

KRIS has so much energy and charisma on stage, I like this series.

KRIS ALLEN~1/8/13

Twitter won't let me tweet photos but I just have to share....
Saw @KrisAllen at the Brighton Music Hall tonight and he put on a great show.

Sporting an Arkansas red and white scarf as a sling, Kris charmed the audience.

I was happy to be on the Torres side of the stage!

Love this one!

TORRES!

I got this view often...not complaining

Kris looked really tired by the end of his set...requesting The Show Must Go On for tomorrows show.

Christmas in NYC

Keeping true to our tradition of changing up Christmas, we spent Christmas 2012 in New York City. I've never seen the City more crowded so I'm guessing it's not a unique destination for the holidays.

We had the ultimate "room with a view" at the Z Hotel in Queens.
Sunset over Manhattan

Another view of Queens from our room, I am fascinated by Queens.

We explored Brooklyn Heights the following morning~love tacky Christmas decorations.

Catholic Church steeple

Hawk sitting in a Plane tree

This sculpture is in a park near the Brooklyn Bridge caught my eye.

Locks of Love, saw these last year in Prague, these were on the Brooklyn Bridge.
Yes, we were tourists and walked across.

Central Park musicians were out in full force playing Christmas music.
This pair were my favorites.

triplets?

Best part of the day; conversation with my boys, a snack and my favorite beer on tap.

Radio City...we skipped the Rocketts and went to see A Christmas Story~the musical.
Great show!

Rockefeller Center has awesome decorations!

This view never gets old...
